Im so sick... Of people who are Hypocrites... Okay, sure we are all a little hypocritical.. But those of us, who are Hypocrites constantly, piss me the H3!! off... Like take for example someone i used to be friends with... I wont say her name, or give her a fake name... But she was so 2-faced... She would say: OMG! I hate all this drama that girls create.. They talk about each other behind their backs, blah, blah, blah... Sounds like something a respected, respectful, (maybe even adult) thing to say? NO!!!!! Not even Five minutes after saying that very comment... Oh my GAWD! Look its: (BLEEP).. Look at her! Does she know what a thigh master is?... I couldn't believe what i was hearing... I know this is a tough pill for Republicans to swallow, but its about time they decided to swallow something for the sake of their party. Do I want Republicans to continue to have any part in the decision making for the country? Hell no! As far as I'm concerned, they can just go hide under a rock and keep their unhelpful, "racist, sexist, homophobic" and "God-driven" ideologies to themselves. But that wouldn't be a democracy would it? So I suppose since we live in a democratic country, its only fair that they get their chance to talk. However, they could choose to bring some more helpful and intelligent ideas to the table, instead of the same old "solutions" they blabber about. Look its quite simple, we tried your ideas, they didn't work. If it hasn't been apparent, your policies were what got the U.S. into this mess in the first place. The last eight years has been like a giant kick in the balls, except instead of it just being one kick, there kept on being more and more of these kicks! (Women think of it like its giving birth to a 13lb baby every month for 8 years.) So Next time you hear some Republican congressman from southern Alabama blabber on about how Obama's destroying this country.. Remember what I've told you... And change the channel.. The End of an Error is over and the Beginning of an Era has begun! Yesterday was President (Wow it feels good to get rid of the -Elect!) Obama's first (Full) day as President! And may i say.... They certainly have been eventful! First because people are amazingly paranoid, and for good measure, President Obama took the oath of office.... Twice! Once at the Inauguration... and one Today!

Chief-Justice Roberts muffed the words for the Oath of Office and people were freaking out about it! sayin Oh blah de bla bla he really isnt president cause the Justice didnt say it right!

OH GROW UP!

Thats like a toddler complaining to his mom because his sister's cupcake has more frosting on it! Not a big deal! its no like the Chief-Justice said: I, Barack Hussein Obama, do solemnly swear, that i will completely ignore the rules set in the constitution for me, so help me God... Now if that happened... Then I'd be freakin out a lil bit...

Okay to some of the people that read my blog... I do read! Books are amazing! So i decided that I would write a List of my favorite Books/Writers.... Call it Marley's List, Schiendlers List parody.... Thats not appropriate....

5.Angels & Demons- Dan Brown: Amazingly well written mystery/adventure story. Precursor to The Da Vinvi Code

4. The Da Vinci Code-Dan Brown: Not quite a continuation of Angels & Demons but it essentialy deals with the same thing as Angels & Demons.

3. Any of the Harry Potter books-J.K. Rowling: I LOVE any books (usually) that involve: Magic, Teen Angst, (cough) any thing that will annoy the Christian Church (lol)

2. The Shining-Steven King: What else could you ask for? Odd occurences involving "ghosts", and the "supernatural"... Kinda messes your mind up! But in a good way.

Why do i hate Geometry? Cause there's more important things to learn

ITS SO SIMPLE! WHEN IN THE H-E-DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS AM I EVER GOING TO USE GEOMETRY IN MY LIFE, UNLESS I GET ABDUCTED BY A CRAZY PSYCHOPATH WHO WILL KILL ME UNLESS I KNOW THE ANSWER TO THE GEOMETRY ? IN FRONT OF ME; IF I BECOME A MATH TEACHER (HA!) OR I BECOME A SCIENTIST! I can think of no other reason that i need to know what the midpoint of an isosceles triangle is when 2 of is points are on the coordinates of (-2,4) and (2,7)!

Please for the love of ME and my sanity teach me something useful! Like how the reproductive system works! Thats important to know! Or how to properly protect yourself from STD's. Obviously some teens are going to have sex. (fact of freakin life) so why would you just teach abstinence only classes, instead of tellin kids how to not get Herpes, AIDS, Gonorrhea, Syphilis and other STD's! It makes perfect sense to you and me, but conservative Christians, evangelicals (a.k.a up-tight, ignorant SOBS) and the Republican's in congress and the governorship, on their moral high horse, wont allow any REAL sex-ed in any schools cause its: Not what "God" would want children to know. The AIP is a group of people that want the state of Alaska to secede from the U.S.A and form their own country! Sarah Palin's and her husband were members of the group (even though there is no "physical evidence" proving that Palin is, however her husband was a REGISTERED member of the club until 2002 when Palin ran for Gov.)

Now who is that might you ask?

VP Debate

WHAT? I told you I was going to blog about it!
As I watched the VP debate the other night, I couldn't help but feel angry and frusterated with most of the answers that Gov. Palin was giving. She didn't answer the questions or really give any details about how her and J-Mac were going to "reform" anything. Lets take a look at her first answer:

Moderator: The House of Representatives this week passed a bill, a big bailout bill -- or didn't pass it, I should say. The Senate decided to pass it, and the House is wrestling with it still tonight. As America watches these things happen on Capitol Hill, Gov. Palin, was this the worst of Washington or the best of Washington that we saw play out?

Palin: John McCain thankfully has been one representing reform. Two years ago, remember, it was John McCain who pushed so hard with the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac reform measures. He sounded that warning bell.

People in the Senate with him, his colleagues, didn't want to listen to him and wouldn't go towards that reform that was needed then. I think that the alarm has been heard, though, and there will be that greater oversight, again thanks to John McCain's bipartisan efforts that he was so instrumental in bringing folks together over this past week, even suspending his own campaign to make sure he was putting excessive politics aside and putting the country first.

Notice how that wasn't the question. Not what did John McCain talk about 2 years ago, but what is your opinion of what happened in Congress and the Senate this week? (I did skip part of what she said because: 1) its too long and i wasn't going to make you read it all and 2) because it really didn't answer the question either.)

Dont Worry. I'm not going to go over every single thing she said but i wanted to use her first answer to give you a feeling for how she answered questions all night long. and out of probably 20-30 questions asked she answered 1 of them with a straight answer....1!

Now Joe Biden did answer questions and sometimes they werent so straight forward, but he answered most questions and she didn't answer any of them. Hell she couldn't even think of a single area where she and John McCain would change any of George Bush's policies.

So I would now like to ask Gov. Palin a question: If you and John McCain are a "group of Mavericks and a group of Reformers," then tell me..... If your not going to change a single policy set in place by George Bush, then how does that make you guys reformers? (a reformer being someone who puts an end to (something) by enforcing or introducing a better method or course of action)

How is that CHANGE?!?!? They're TV ad's tell us that "Change is Coming," but if they're going to continue the same DISASTEROUS policies of George W. Bush, what else besides the person sitting behind the desk constitutes as CHANGE?

No Gay Marriage? ¿Por Qué No? (Why Not?)

Okay I had to write about this topic after a "disscussion" i had today in Digital Photo.
Well lets start at the beginning. My friend Mel told me today that some kid made random, stupid comments about why its wrong for gay people to get married
("because the Bible says so thats why")

Okay first of all, people need to remember that the Bible was written by (not God or Jesus), but by old MEN who believed that:

I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness - Lev.15: 19-24. The problem is how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.

Lev. 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighbouring nations. If someone claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians, then surely I would be a slave and yet, Justin Morneau wouldnt be. Why is that?

I have a neighbour who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2. The passage clearly states he should be put to death. So tell me....Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?

A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination - Lev. 11:10, it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. Are there ‘degrees’ of abomination?

Lev. 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I wear glasses because I'm near-sighted. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here? [Dwarfs and people with bad backs are also forbidden to approach.]

Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev.19:27, and it says they sould be put to death.
How should they die?

Leviticus 18:22 reads: "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; such thing is an abomination."

What if my father was interested in selling his daughter into slavery as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. What would a good price for her be?

Here's one that's really important cause we've got a lot of sports fans in this country: touching the skin of a dead pig makes one unclean. Leviticus 11:7 If they promise to wear gloves can the Minnesota Vikings still play football? Can USC? Can my hometown Albert Lea Tigers?

Does the whole town really have to be together to stone my uncle, Miah, for planting different crops side by side?

Can I burn my mother in a small family gathering for wearing garments made from two different threads?

Okay I stole some of these questions from (The Greatest TV Show EVER Made) the West Wing, but theyre all valid points.

As for Gay Marraige not being allowed, its not the governments place to tell people that they can't be married together because they are of the same gender. And as for saying they'd allow the people to decide.... it's not anyone elses place to not allow it either.

(If you ask me, this whole "ordeal" of the government not recognizing gay marriage borders on a dictatorship.)

Okay so i was surfin the big I (my code name for the Internet) and i saw a news article from Time magazine that said: Obama makes big gains with women, Hits new high.... so me being the huge Obama supporter I am, I decided to read it and i found this:

Obama has opened a 7-point lead in the national polls putting him over the 50% mark.... (Just wait it gets better)

Among the poll's most dramatic findings: McCain is losing female voters even faster then Sarah Palin attracted them... Obama now holds a 17-point lead over McCain with women. (when McCain picked Palin the previous lead Obama had was basically wiped out)

(This is the most hilarious part to me:)

Obama remains weak among white men. That group supports McCain 57%-36% overall, and non-college-educated white men back the Republican ticket by an even greater margin, 63%-27%.

That whole Non-College-Educated White Men thing just cracks me up because somewhere in my demented little mind is a little mechanism or something like that triggers my "Stereotype" response. (where i end up getting a picture in my mind of someone doing a thing that I think only that race does.)

(For Example when i read that I got a picture of a redneck from southern Georgia that has a Confederate Flag that he "proudly displays to show what a "rebel" he is")

But I'm pretty sure that I'm right because most stereotypes are based on things that those (races, groups whatever) do.

If you don't agree with me that thats probably who Time is talking about, thats fine, but I think that

stat is hilarious!

Okay this happened a while ago, but for some reason it simply eluded me until just now to write about it.

About 2 or 3 weeks ago my dad, a couple of his friends from work and I went up to Elko Speedway and unfortunately it rained out. (I'm actually glad it rained though because...)

There was a band there that blew my mind away! Their called Hairball and they're like a cover band, but their so amazingly different from any other cover band you've ever seen play because:

They have 3 different singers, and they dress up as different lead singers from the huge bands that we've all heard of. (KISS, Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, AC/DC)

And they all look and sing exactly alike the singer from that band!

It blows my mind away thinking about how good they are!

A look inside the brain of a self-proclaimed Metalhead

Okay before i get to my current subject I'd like to give you a little background.

My dad is a HUGE metalhead and when i was in my mothers womb, he would put headphones on her stomach and play like Slayer, KISS, Metallica or other music of that nature so I'm pretty sure thats why I love listening to Metal.

So I have some friends (haha yea you think your funny don't you? Chortling when i said that...) who are just as big of fans as Metal as I am and I'll be asking them:

"Hey, have you ever heard of this band?" and each and everyone of them will say no.

It drives me crazy that they love Metal and yet they haven't heard ANY of the music i put on for them, SO I decided to make a list of the top 5 Metal bands people should've heard of, but amazingly haven't.

1) Hammerfall (Amazing riffs, licks and beats.... in my opinion sounds more like a "melodic Metal" band)

2)Heavenly (see above)

3)Pantera (Okay they've all heard Cowboys From Hell, only because it's on Guitar Hero. Most of their other songs are way better! Some are SUPER heavy and others will start out melodically and then have about a 2 and 1/2 minute Headbanger session as I've (not so cleverly) named it.

4) Primus (Again they've heard John the Fisherman on Guitar Hero but have never listened to their other work)

5)Tool (I've seen 1 person who has listened to Tool and actually expressed that they liked the band with a t-shirt.)

HOW HAVE YOU PEOPLE NEVER HEARD THESE BANDS!!!!!!!!!

The Big Debate!

Yea I'm a geek! So? Of course i watched the debates. Hello People! It's Me your talking about!

McCain and Obama took part in the first debate of the presidential election, and let me tell you something.... Obama brought his A game. McCain on the other hand, didn't really answer the questions directed to him. Instead he decided to tell stories about all the things he's done and places he's been. So if I learned anything about John McCain... Its that he isn't going to respond to a question with a DIRECT answer. And I don't think that I'm being biased by saying that Obama did a good job because he answered more questions and he directed questions to John McCain who simply just shrugged them off and said that Obama "Just doesn't get it."

Obama does get it, and he does understand what hes talking about. What

I don't understand how John McCain can try and smear Obama with these lies because McCain said (HIMSELF!) that he doesn't understand economics. (The economy being the biggest issue in this Election Year)

Also, Obama had tons of chances to rub things in McCains face (Ex: Like when McCain asked Obama what his definition of rich was. Barack could've said: "Someone who owns 11 houses and 12 cars." Obviously in reference to McCains massive amount of wealth and luxurious lifestyle.)

But thats not how he plays the game. Which is great because a lot of people are sick and tired of just attack after attack after attack.

So if I was the judge for these debates Thats:

Obama:1

McCain:0

As you should know Sarah Palin is the John McCains Vice-Presidential Candidate. Look at some of the things she believes.

Palin recently said that the war in Iraq is "God's task." She's even admitted she hasn't thought about the war much—just last year she was quoted saying, "I've been so focused on state government, I haven't really focused much on the war in Iraq."

(If you actually CARED enough about the well being of this country....The War would be on your mind almost all of the time)

Palin wants to teach creationism in public schools. She hasn't made clear whether she thinks evolution is a fact.

(Evolution is based on scientific FACT......Creationism and Intelligent Design is based on the opinion and BELIEF (not fact) that God created everything officially by the Christian Church..... In other words they cant prove it but you should believe them anyway. Thats like me telling you "If you give me $100 I will turn it into a million dollars.)

Palin doesn't believe that humans contribute to global warming. Speaking about climate change, she said, "I'm not one though who would attribute it to being manmade."

(Once again another Scientific Fact VERIFIED by Scientists: Carbon Dioxide ruins the ozone layer which believe it or not protects us even though we cant see it. AND we HUMANS create it by driving cars, planes etc. etc. etc.)

Palin has close ties to Big Oil. Her inauguration was even sponsored by BP.

(Doesnt that seem strange that her and john mccain want to "help heal the environment" and yet they both have huge ties to the oil companies whose "product" is destroying our environment?)

Palin is extremely anti-choice. She doesn't even support abortion in the case of rape, incest OR if the mothers health is in danger.

(First of all: Thats just cold. Say for instance your mom could die if she was pregnant because of complications with the baby (the baby will die too) this is common sense there is no reason to have 2 people die. Yes is sad that a baby died but there is no reason for the mother to die too..... Plus Republicans say they're the pro-life party and yet they enforce the death penalty, cut funding for schools, infustructure and transportation (roads and such)..... theyre the biggest bunch of hypocrites)

Palin opposes comprehensive sex-ed in public schools. She's said she will only support abstinence-only approaches.

(Okay we all know some teenagers are going to have sex..... its pretty much a fact of life.... but if you know that then why wouldnt you allow kids to understand that using a condom could end up saving someones life (or at least stopping a teen from becoming a parent when they would have no earthly idea how to do that, and save them from embarrasment in school) (or stop them from spreading VD) If Republicans dont want "big government that dictates a way of living" then why would they try and tell people they cant marry someone of another sex, or tell someone they cant get an abortion? That seems like BIG government to me)

As mayor, Palin tried to ban books from the library. Palin asked the library how she might go about banning books because some had inappropriate language in them—shocking the librarian, Mary Ellen Baker. According toTime, "news reports show that Palin had threatened to fire Baker for not giving "full support" to the mayor."

(Seriously they need to quit worrying about what people do. That is seriously on the verge of a dictatorship)

She DID support the $400 Billion Bridge to Nowhere (before she opposed it). Palin claimed that she said "thanks, but no thanks" to the infamous Bridge to Nowhere. But in 2006, Palin supported the project repeatedly, saying that Alaska should take advantage of earmarks "while our congressional delegation is in a strong position to assist."

(Okay Again HYPOCRATE!!!!! She says shes against "Wasteful Government Spending" and yet she approved building a $400 Billion dollar bridge that takes you nowhere. WHAT IN THE WORLD IS THE POINT OF THAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!???!!!!?!?!??!!!????!!!?!?!!?!"

I desperately urge anyone that reads this that is/or knows someone that is an "Undecided Voter" to share this information.

"You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig". Thats what Barack Obama said about John McCain and his sham of a campaign promise "to Bring Change to Washington." (How is he going to bring change to Washington when he wants to continue the same failed policies that George Bush instituted?!?!?) Instead McCain and the Republican Distortion Machine attacked Obama for calling Sarah Palin a pig. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! Do they really think that anyone with a morsel of a brain cell would actually believe Obama was calling Palin a pig?! What a basketful of fly covered CRAP! I dont understand how anyone in their right mind could come to that conclusion.

Is this the way the rest of the election is going to go? Obama says something about a color he doesnt like or thinks is ugly (" i think the color green is the ugliest color in the history of ugly colors") and McCain and Palin are going to say he was referring to Palin. (Barack Obama crossed a line! He said Im ugly because i wear green!)

That is 1 of the many reasons why i have absolutely no respect for John McCain. (or Sarah Palin for that matter) Sure he was captured by the Vietnamese and was tortured and all that. Yea thats all terribly horrific and sad, but people lose respect for anyone who has to attack his/her opponent for stupid trivial reasons. When your going to be campaigning for the highest office in the land, you had better be talking about issues like health care and education, NOT wether your opponent may have made a comment about your running mate.

Also, when you say your against "wasteful government spending" and yet you would love to have a $400 BILLION bridge that leads to no-where, you had damn well be ready to be called out on it. She says shes been against it from the time it was proposed and yet she told the (indicted) Senator for Alaska Ted Stevens: "We need to take advantage of these opportunities while they are available." So please tell me Governor.

HOW ARE YOU AGAINST WASTEFUL SPENDING?

Ponder that while i think what my next rant is going to be about.
